CWT's GEM (Gas Energy Mixing) System is the most sustainable wastewater flotation technology available to the industrial processor today. CWT's patented LSGM (liquid solid gas mixing) heads do most of the work, rather than relying on a large tank, to introduce chemical and aeration through 100% of the wastestream resulting in retention times of minutes vs. hours. This reduces the necessary tank size, resulting in a smaller footprint (more green space), reduced and more efficient chemical use, less sludge production and energy reductions. The shorter retention time also makes the GEM System more adaptable to changing streams. The GEM System, which is easily relocatable, easily expandable and more versatile, also provides processors with the opportunity to save valuable money on sludge storing, hauling and disposal. While the GEM System can use standard commercially available polymers, it also provides tremendous results with GRAS (generally regarded as safe) polymers or without chemical treatment allowing processors the potential to sell their sludge/solids to renderers for the creation of renewable by-products.
